Alumina Ceramic Metering Pump is a dosing pump whose wet-end (plunger + cylinder) is manufactured from alumina (Al₂O₃) technical ceramic. It delivers precise, repeatable volumes of liquids—from microliters to continuous low flows—especially where fluids are corrosive, abrasive, or purity-critical. The ceramic friction pair is precision-ground with micro-clearance to minimize slip and wear, helping maintain a stable setpoint with low pulsation and low drift over long duty cycles.
Alumina Ceramic Metering Pump Advantages
- Stable micro-dosing: low slip fit and polished contact achieve ±1% accuracy with low pulsation.
- Corrosion & wear control: alumina on alumina friction pair extends service interval in acid/alkali/oxidant media.
- Valveless option: simplified wet-end for shear-sensitive or particle-containing fluids.
- Cleanability: smooth bore and minimal dead volume support CIP/SIP-ready layouts when system hardware permits.
- Scalable geometry: interchangeable bores and strokes to cover micro- to high-throughput dosing lanes.
