What is a Silicon Nitride Plunger?
A silicon nitride plunger is a precision Si₃N₄ ceramic piston rod used in high-pressure pumps, metering pumps, dosing systems and filling equipment. It is selected when metal plungers face wear, corrosion, seal damage or dimensional drift under repeated strokes.
